I know something about God leading people into unexpected places. I am a California boy whom God called to the cornfields of Illinois. I traded palm trees and ocean views for cornfields and combines—and somehow, by God’s grace, Illinois became home. It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve this church and community.
